AgriTosha Limited ("AgriTosha," "we," "us," or "our") built and operates ToshaPOS. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, how we protect it, and the rights you have over it under Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019 ("the Act"). AgriTosha Limited is the data controller for the information described below.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you book a demo through this site, we ask for your name and phone number, and optionally your town or location and the type of shop you run. We only collect what we need to respond to your request and arrange your demo. We don't ask for payment details, ID numbers, or any other sensitive data through this form.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our server automatically logs standard technical data for every visit: your IP address, browser type, and the pages you view. This is normal web infrastructure logging, used for security and troubleshooting, not for tracking you individually or for advertising.

Cookies. This site uses only the strictly necessary cookies required to keep the site working: a session cookie and a security (CSRF) token. We do not currently use analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies. If that changes, we'll update this policy first.

2. How we use your information

• To respond to your demo request and get in touch with you (by phone, WhatsApp, or email).
• To arrange and carry out your onboarding onto ToshaPOS, if you decide to go ahead.
• To keep our records of who we've spoken to and what was agreed.
• To detect and block automated spam submissions to our forms.

We do not use your information to send unsolicited marketing, and we do not sell it to anyone.

3. Who we share it with

Your details go to the AgriTosha team members who handle sales and onboarding. They may also be shared with service providers who help us run this website and deliver email, for example our hosting and email delivery providers, strictly so they can perform that function for us. We do not share your information with advertisers or data brokers, and we do not sell it.

4. Where your data is stored, and for how long

Your data is stored in our database on secure hosting infrastructure. We keep it for as long as it's useful for the purpose you gave it to us, generally for the duration of our conversation with you about ToshaPOS and, if you onboard, for as long as you're a customer. If you ask us to delete your information and you're not an active customer, we will do so, subject to any legal reason we may need to keep it.

5. Your rights under the Data Protection Act, 2019

As a data subject under Kenyan law, you have the right to:

• Be informed of how your personal data is being used, which is the purpose of this policy.
• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate or outdated data.
• Request deletion of your data, where we're not required to keep it for a legitimate reason.
• Object to how we're processing your data.
• Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (ODPC) if you believe we've mishandled your data.

6. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational steps to protect your data against loss, misuse, or unauthorized access. No system is completely secure, but we work to keep yours as safe as we reasonably can.

7. Children's privacy

ToshaPOS is a business tool for agrovet shop owners and staff. This site isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices change or as the law requires. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
